The QUANTUM LEAP web site has now launched two stores, one for music and one for downloadable writings/e-books. 

 

Here is how the sales process works with a pie chart example.

 

A Gross retail price is agreed upon between the creator of the product and the seller. From the price, the seller or 'Creator' will always receive 50% of the Gross sales price. The remaining 50% will be split between the net proceeds to the store, affiliate payouts, and any sales discounts.


In the example pictured, 10% is paid out to an affiliate, there was a 10% discount online coupon code used by the buyer, which leaves a 30% net proceed to the store and 50% to the product Creator.

If you agree to the details outlined on the 'Pricing and Payment Structure' tab above, here is what is needed in order for us to get started on our end...

 

Got E-books?

  1. E-MAIL A PDF of the book to store@thequantumleap.com Make sure both the front and back covers of the book are included as the first and last page of the PDF.
     
  2. PAYMENT INFO -  let us know a Paypal e-mail address that payments can be sent to.  As outlined by the pie chart, your net proceeds of the retail price (50%) would be sent to you monthly as a Paypal disbursement (Keep in mind Paypal would deduct their regular fees from your net for processing the transaction, which is typically 3-4%. If you live in the U.S., we can mail you a check if you prefer.)

  3. BOOK SUMMARY - Please email up to a 200 word summary about the book in plain text.

  4. YOUR BIO - Please email up to a 200 word bio highlighting yourself or other authors involved.  If you can also email a photo of yourself or all the authors involved as well, simply make sure the photo is no larger than 300 pixels wide or high.

  5. PERSONALIZED PAGE AND BANNER IMAGE OPPORTUNITY  - If you have four or more e-books,  a custom dedicated page highlighting just your books can be created for you at no extra charge! The page would have your own personalized large banner at the top. The size for this banner image is 615 pixels wide by 150 pixels tall. You can either e-mail us a finished banner sized to those dimensions in a .JPG or .PSD format, or one can be created for you for a minimal fee depending on the time it takes to create it. 

Got Music?...Got Audio Books?


  1. MP3 - FULL VERSION OF TRACKS for each digital download CD you want us to sell.
    ZIP together a set of all your full length track MP3 files, grouped by CD title, and name the file folders the same name as your CD titles.

    Because the file size may be large, please send them via the web site www.YouSendIt.com This site offers a free service provided your file is 100 MB or less. Simply type in the store@thequantumleap.com in the "To" Field on their home page, your own e-mail address, and then just attach your ZIP file. If your ZIP file is over 100 MB, simply send two separate e-mails through the site.

    If you don't have your music in MP3 format, there are a variety of online programs you can download which can convert your file. (Just google MP3 converter). You can also have us convert them for you at a price of only $10 per CD (Click here to paypal funds specific to this request). You'll receive an e-mail with the converted MP3s attached so you can keep them for other uses. 
     
  2. MP3 - TEASER OF TRACKS for each digital download CD you want us to sell.
    E-Mail 20-30 second MP3 snippets of the full length MP3's, that we can offer as a teaser to encourge people to buy your CD or Audio Book.  If you don't have them in MP3 format, we can convert them for a minimal fee of $20 per CD and e-mail them back to you. (Click here to Paypal funds specific to this request).  If you prefer to do this yourself, here is a great MP3 trimmer program which is simple and quick.
     
  3. IMAGE OF CD or AUDIO BOOK COVER
    E-Mail as a .JPG that is no larger than 1000 x 1000 pixels, and no smaller than 500 x 500 pixels is possible. Include the image(s) in the ZIP file you send through "YouSendIt.com" that contains your audio files if possible. (Because .JPG's typicall have small files sizes, you can e-mail them directly to store@thequantumleap.com if you didn't include them in the ZIP file).
     
  4.
