About Channeling

BARBARA WITH is an award-winning composer and performer who got her start on the imfamous Minneapolis West Bank during the days of Dylan, Koettke and Kerner, Ray and Glover. She has won several Minnesota Music awards through the years: Best Female Soloist; Favorite Female Vocalist; the video of her song "Dancing on the Beach" won first place in the Northwest Cablevision music awards; her original acoustic trio, Les Amies, was picked one of Minneapolis Best Unsigned Bands in the Yamaha Ticketmaster Unsigned Band Contest; and the song she wrote for the Portage for Youth After School Program won finalist in the 2002 John Lennon Songwriting Contest.

She's opened for Tower of Power, Joan Armatrading, Tom Waits, Jerry Jeff Walker, Chuck Berry, to name a few. Throughout the years she has toured internationally as an original soloist, in duos and trios, with original rock & roll ensembles, and dance cover bands. She has recently taken up writing for the musical theater, and mentoring and producing children in songwriting.

It began in 1970 when I started an apprenticeship with a woman who did channeling, a process of transposing messages from some other or higher consciousness. My mentor would close her eyes and concentrate, and then speak in what she said was the voice of my higher power. These readings not only provided valuable insights into my life but made predictions about how my path would unfold. I also received advice on how to successfully navigate through it from a detached, nonjudgmental and compassion reference frame. In 1987, after nearly 20 years of studying the cause and affect of these readings against my life, I started my own practice. Since then I have provided 1000s of readings to those seeking to hear the voices of their own higher power.

Channeling is the process of getting out of my ego's way to allow the Angels to speak through me with a human voice. Slipping into a concentration, my higher self and the Angels join together to form a synergistic voice of "We." For me, it's a miracle and yet as everyday as breathing. But remember, painters, singers, gardeners, dancers: all are channeling creative energy into the manifestation of matter. But further, we all channel our own lives. Just sitting in a chair, being alive, is channeling. Every human, made up of body, mind and emotion, is a conduit for their own spirit, pipeline to the soul, caught in the act of co-creating life, everyday, every minute. In essence, life is a natural channeling process.

In 1993 I started to study the information I was channeling. Together with two associates, we organized groups of listeners, taped the sessions, transcribed and together studied the content of these readings. Our book, "Diaries of a Psychic Sorority: Talking With the Angels" is the documentary of the first highly-charged four-month period of our association with the "Angels" and includes six group and several triad transcripts, along with our personal stories as we journeyed into the uncharted realm of higher consciousness together.

The gist of the message was about how to achieve what was referred to as "world peace one person at a time starting with you." The transcripts revealed a revolutionary process to resolve conflict on a rudimental level that, according to the "angels" would lead to "all our wildest dreams coming true." The three of us used the backdrop of our own lives and our relationships to each other to test this process. In order to prove that it worked, we became the lab rats and our lives became the lesson book.

In 1998, I began to channel the voices of a group of famous dead people working in the Afterlife for world peace. One of the members of this Party of Twelve was Albert Einstein. Since then I have gone on to become an emissary for Einstein, carrying his message around the world. Today I realize, it was Einstein all along, an Angel himself, reaching back from beyond the grave to continue to help the world he so loved.

This mission statement is the basis of the work of my readings. We are here to create world peace, one person at a time, starting with you. These readings offer an intricate, intimate view of a mucher deeper you than your intellectual mind might have been imagining. They provide assistance in hearing these voices of your own divinity with the intent to help you learn to connect so deeply and securely to the divinity within that you eventually become that sovereign being you so long to become.

But you must be willing to pick up your power and do the hard work of self-awareness, self-motivation and self-love. That is the only way to learn the power behind creating your own life and making your wildest dreams come true.
