All of these take us on a journey which ranges from present-day Baghdad, forward to a 23rd Century classroom, and back to the far-off origins of Earth. In the course of this adventure we are introduced to a number of intriguing characters. the most extraordinary of which is Finn, the radiant youth with the blue curls from 250 years in the future.

Many people believe that procrastination and lack of discipline are the culprits that block many potential achievements. It is my contention that these culprits are just the results of our inner fears and lack of belief in ourselves: our failure to begin these tasks is not due to the ideas of procrastination and lack of discipline.

After I earnestly began my efforts to write a book, it fizzled out after a few weeks. It wasn’t until a few months later that I went back to the task. My confidence in my ability to do it still existed even after I had stopped, although punctuated with bouts of doubt, but what had changed were the physical circumstances. Having no work projects for a period of time, and no immediate worry about the piling up of bills, I suddenly had the space and time to actually focus on writing full time. I discovered that there was more to writing a book than the desire and the elimination of inner fears: There were a number of key elements to successfully completing the task of writing a book.

However, I realized that anyone could do it–anyone with the desire at least. Whenever I listened to my friends talk about their desire to also write a book ‘some day,’ I would feel this strong desire to help them because I knew that writing a book can be easily achieved. In three cases, I even offered to coach them through the process. But I knew that I wouldn’t have time to coach all of my friends through this, so I decided to put pen to paper. I wanted to share my discoveries with them to make it easier for them to not just attempt it, but to achieve it.

As a result of my experiences in writing my first book, I developed an appreciation for the barriers that we face as individuals and developed strategies for addressing these barriers to allow the task of ‘writing a book some day’ to become a task of starting ‘today!’ You will find that some of the steps are short and straight forward, while others are long and very detailed. Nevertheless, they are all easily achievable. What I have done is to combine my writing experiences with my understanding of Psychology, and the tools that I use in working with my own personal development and those that I
have coached over the years. I share my discoveries with all of you who dare to venture down this path, and wish each of you every success in your endeavors and hope to meet you all at the
finish line!
